The Greek Catholic Parish Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Mochnaczka Niżna (currently  the Roman Catholic Parish Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa) was erected in the C18th or the middle of the C19th. It is a West Lemko, log-construction church. The ornamental-figurative polychrome work dates from 1960-64 and is the work of Cz. Lenczowski and S. Kruczek. The iconostasis (s creen with icons) consists of an upper part – baroque and a lower part – late-classical; the middle of the iconostasis is concealed by the main altar which is in a folk neo-gothic style and has a painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa (1956).
